Benefits Of Increased Productivity

I would like to start this productivity blog post series with listing some of the benefits of increased productivity. Although the benefits seem obvious, I would like to point them out.

NO MORE MULTITASKING

When you are more productive, you will get more done in shorter time. It is proven that when you multitask, you are not 100% focussed on each task, which leads into less productivity. Once you found your productive way and tools to use, you can focus on one task at a time, which will increase the quality of the result.

SAVE TIME

This is an obvious one that doesn’t need much explanation. You will have more time to either get more done or to spend more time with your family, partner and/or friends or your hobbies.

LESS STRESS

When you get more done in less time, you will have more time at hand (see paragraph above). It will leave you feel less stressed which leads to a healthier work-life-balance.

IMPRESS

For some this might be an important factor. You might want to impress your boss, colleagues, friends or clients by getting lots of things done in an efficient way.

KEEP YOUR MIND ACTIVE

Increasing your productivity by improving your way of working by trying new things will keep your mind active.

IMPROVING YOU MOOD

When you get things done, you will have the feeling of satisfaction, which will ultimately improve your mood.

MOTIVATE OTHERS

If you can stay motivated and productive, people around you will pick up on this and will get inspired and motivated by you.

EARN MORE

If you get more things done and are self-employed, it can lead to you earning more as you can create more value and products.

CONTROL

Being productive will give you more control over your time and life.

SATISFACTION

I mentioned it above in one of the other benefits. If you get things done in a productive way and you don’t feel like wasting time, you will be satisfied.
